Can I use it on macOS 12 (Monterey) or earlier?▼
No. LuminaWhisper requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later on an Apple Silicon Mac.
Is Intel Mac supported?▼
Currently, it is exclusive to Apple Silicon (M1 or later). There are no plans to support Intel Macs.
Where is my audio data sent?▼
Audio data is never sent outside the device. All processing is done locally on your Mac.
The hotkey is not responding.▼
Please check that LuminaWhisper is allowed under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
How can I improve recognition accuracy?▼
Speaking clearly in a quiet environment close to the microphone improves accuracy. Selecting a larger model (medium) in the General tab or enabling LLM Post-Processing is also effective.
